i What the quiz asks you
Five questions, about sixty seconds. It asks what your main skin goal is — hydration and glow, anti-ageing and firmness, acne scarring and texture, breakouts, brightening and even tone, or sensitivity and redness. It asks how your skin feels most days, how much experience you already have with facials, what you want most from a visit, and the kind of care you are drawn to. There is an "I'm not sure yet" answer on the questions where guessing would not help, and picking it does not disadvantage the result.
ii What you get at the end
A named starting point, not a sales page. The result tells you which treatment we would begin with, what it includes, what it costs, and what members pay. If your answers suggest that a proper look at your skin should come before any treatment, it says that instead — a Skin Consultation is $50 and runs 30–45 minutes. Nothing is booked automatically. You leave with information, and you decide what to do with it.
iii What if I don't know my skin type?
Most people don't, and the quiz is built on that assumption. You are never asked to name a skin type — only to describe how your skin behaves, which is something you already know. The quiz narrows the field. A proper look at your skin decides it, and that happens in the room, not on a web page. If you would rather skip straight to that, the Signature Facial is $89 on a first visit and includes the same assessment, and a skin consultation is $50 if your question is really about your routine. Coming regularly afterwards is what membership is for — it is never required.
iv Should I book a facial or a targeted treatment?
This is the question the quiz resolves most often. A facial cleanses, exfoliates, hydrates and treats the skin surface, and it suits most people starting out or maintaining results. A targeted treatment — microneedling, RF microneedling, a chemical peel, or dermaplaning — works deeper and is chosen for a specific concern such as scarring, texture or firmness. If you are new to us we almost always begin with a facial, because it tells us how your skin responds before anything more aggressive is on the table.
v Is there a version for teens, or for specific concerns?
Yes to both. The Teen Facial is $75 and is deliberately gentle and educational rather than corrective. For a defined goal, our specialty facials start at $155 and are built on G.M. Collin protocols — hydrolifting, collagen, and sea-C brightening. The quiz will point you at one of these if your answers call for it.
vi Is the quiz really anonymous?
Yes. It asks for no name, no email and no contact details, and it works without an account. We see patterns across everyone who takes it — which goals come up most, where people hesitate — and never an individual. You can take it as many times as you like. Our privacy page sets out exactly what is and is not recorded, in plain language.
